2nd March 2020:

There’s a BBC programme about Coronavirus - we watch it. They invite the viewers to send them questions on Twitter. I feel compelled to send them a tweet-it states another bug bear of mine which I’m convinced spreads disease:

#BBCYourQuestions In the name of the prevention of covid please can the world stop spitting in the streets and on the sports field? And let's adhere to all this [virus spreading prevention] advice to prevent seasonal flu and other viruses longterm!
